Instructions:

  1. Grease a 13x9in baking pan and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the rice cereal and quick oats. Toast over medium heat for a few minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning. Set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt the marshmallows, peanut butter, and butter over low heat until smooth.
  4. Stir the toasted cereal mixture, peanuts, and cranberries into the marshmallow mixture until everything is well combined.
  5. Firmly press the mixture into the greased pan, making sure to spread it evenly. Let it cool for about 10 minutes.
  6. Once cool, cut into bars. For an extra special touch, cut wax paper squares slightly larger than each bar and roll the bars in the wax paper, twisting the ends to close.
